BACOG is pleased to announce that this year’s Donald P. Klein award recipient is the Village of South Barrington for the South Barrington Conservancy. From its early inception over a dozen years ago, the South Barrington Conservancy has offered a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy the natural environment, with trails, lakes, streams, bird watching, wildflowers, and the opportunity for passive recreation.
The Barrington Area Council of Governments created the Donald P. Klein award in 2010 to posthumously honor the first and long-time Executive Director of BACOG, Donald Patrick Klein.
