I realize lead content in a well sample could significantly be affected by conditions within the homeowners water system but am surprised that it is not included in the stage 2 testing.
Thanks,
Charles of Barrington Hills
As you mentioned, lead is usually associated with the house and/or the service leading to the house. Lead is usually not naturally occurring in the groundwater in our area and therefore, it is not included in our stage 2 testing. If you have a concern about lead you can have it tested for about $15-$25, contact the BACOG office if you are interested in this. -Dr. Thomsen
