Barrington Area Council of Governments (BACOG) recently elected Village of Barrington President Karen Darch as Chairperson of the Executive Board for 2020-2021 at its meeting on May 26th and elected Village of South Barrington President Paula McCombie as Vice-Chairperson. The installation of new officers of the BACOG Executive Board took place at its meeting on June 23rd .
Amy Nykaza, Barrington Township Supervisor, was also recognized for serving as BACOG Chairperson of the Executive Board for 2019 – 2020. The board commended her leadership during the past year which presented unique and shared challenges for local government.
A resolution was also passed recognizing Deer Park President Dale Sands upon his retirement for his contributions to BACOG and years of public service.
