The Barrington Area Council of Governments will be hosting 3 educational presentations for those interested in learning more about groundwater protection, water softeners, salt and drinking water.
Presentations will take place on Wednesday, September 5th at 2:00 pm at The Garlands of Barrington (1000 Garlands Lane in Barrington, IL)
Presentations are FREE and open to the public, all are welcome to attend.

Janet Agnoletti / BACOG: Find out how BACOG promotes groundwater sustainability through research, monitoring, planning and tools.
Bryanna Poczatek / National Water Quality Association: Learn how water softeners contribute chlorides to our aquifer drinkinig water and technologies that can lower salt consumption and contamination.
Andrew Wilson / Angel Water Inc.: Hear more from a local water conditioning service provider about equipment on the market today, including system types and costs.
These presentations will be held in conjunction with BACOG’s private well water testing event. BACOG-area residents with private well water may purchase kits from area village halls or township offices from August 27th – 31st during office hours and return samples between 1:00 – 7:00 pm on September 5th to The Garlands of Barrington.
